eDEX-UI 2.2

eDEX-UI, developed by GitSquared, is an immersive, cross-platform, fullscreen terminal emulator and system dashboard inspired by sci‑fi interfaces. It blends a shell with real-time system information and a live directory viewer, all presented in a sleek, themeable heads-up display. eDEX-UI runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Key features include:

• A fullscreen terminal powered by modern web technologies
• Real-time system stats (CPU, memory, storage, network, and more)
• A directory browser synchronized with the terminal’s working directory
• Touchscreen support and an on-screen keyboard, alongside full keyboard/mouse control

eDEX-UI is popular for kiosks, live demos, streaming backdrops, and anyone who prefers a futuristic aesthetic for everyday terminal work. Because it’s Electron-based, it generally consumes more resources than traditional terminal emulators.
